Australia Issues Travel Alert Over Terrorist Threat in Pakistan

Aug. 22 (Bloomberg) -- Australia advised its citizens to avoid traveling to Pakistan, citing possible terrorist attacks against western hotels in Islamabad.

Australians should reconsider travel to Pakistan because of a ``very high threat'' of an attack, the Foreign Affairs Department said in a statement.
